WARRIOR'S CLUB
Childhood Obesity is a serious issue in the United States of America. About 20% of our children suffer from obesity, and that number is rising. Certain populations, particularly African Americans and Hispanics have a higher percentage of obesity which puts them at risk for more health concerns. The focus with children is not necessarily weight loss, but healthy lifestyle changes. The Warrior’s Club Fitness Class is a free class that is targeted to help instill healthy habits into our families. From healthy eating to exercising, the Warrior’s Club is focused on reducing childhood obesity in our city. The class is a weekly class for the community.
